SINGAPORE — Collins Aerospace has signed two 12-year agreements with Royal Brunei Airlines to provide FlightSense and Dispatch services for the carrier’s current and future Boeing 787 fleet.
The long-term support will span multiple aircraft systems—including avionics, cargo, electrical power, environmental control and lighting—with a fixed-rate model designed to guarantee component availability, cut downtime and improve cost predictability. The deal includes predictive, reliability-based maintenance to optimize avionics performance, as well as asset and logistics support and access to certified spare and repaired parts.
“Our aftermarket solutions continue to deliver meaningful value for 787 operators in the Asia-Pacific region,” said Jen Latka, vice president of Aftermarket, Power & Controls, Collins Aerospace. “With a connected data ecosystem through FlightSense and proactive, globally supported avionics maintenance through Dispatch, Royal Brunei will be positioned for strong fleet performance.”
FlightSense is described as a full-lifecycle maintenance program tailored to airline operations and powered by the company’s Ascentia analytics platform, which aggregates and analyzes millions of aircraft data points to spot performance trends, recommend maintenance actions and generate insights to improve fleet operations.
Collins Aerospace, part of RTX, provides solutions across avionics, aircraft interiors, aerostructures and engine components, mission systems, and power and control systems. Royal Brunei Airlines, established in 1974 as Brunei Darussalam’s national carrier, operates a fleet that includes five Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners and seven Airbus A320neo aircraft.
