The U.S. Army has launched its annual Tenant Satisfaction Survey, opening the 2025 cycle on March 3 to solicit feedback from more than 200,000 residents living in privatized, government-owned, and government-leased family housing as well as permanent party unaccompanied housing. Officials say the results will guide improvements to housing quality, resident services, and community amenities, with an explicit link to readiness.
The confidential, voluntary survey will be available online for 60 days. It is administered by CEL & Associates Inc., an independent third-party firm, and will be distributed via email. Army leaders are urging residents to respond promptly once they receive the link.
Lt. Gen. David Wilson, the Army’s Deputy Chief of Staff for G-9, underscored the role of resident feedback in shaping upgrades and policy. “As we learned from last year’s survey, investing in housing improvements that provide safe, secure, quality housing is important for our Soldiers and their families. This survey is an important tool for the Army to understand their needs to provide the best housing possible and enable our focus on warfighting.”
Beyond guiding physical improvements, the Army says it will use responses to strengthen communication with tenants, tackle deficiencies, and prioritize what matters most to communities across the installation housing portfolio.
“This survey, and our continued housing improvement efforts, highlight our continued commitment to the health and welfare of our Soldiers and their families, which we know directly impacts Army readiness,” Wilson said.
Residents who do not receive a survey email are advised to contact their local garrison housing office. The Army plans to publish the results to reinforce transparency and responsiveness to families living on post.
