Submarine Squadron 15 aids Inalåhan recovery after Super Typhoon Sinlaku

Sailors assigned to Commander, Submarine Squadron 15 (CSS-15), its forward-deployed submarines, and Performance Monitoring Team Detachment Guam partnered with the village of Inalåhan to support recovery efforts on April 23, 2026, following Super Typhoon Sinlaku.

The effort included a beach cleanup in the village as crews assisted with post-storm recovery.

Super Typhoon Sinlaku, a Category 5 storm, moved through Guam and the Northern Marianas islands, bringing hurricane-force winds, heavy rain and high seas.
