U.S. Forces Conduct Strikes Targeting al-Shabaab

U.S. Africa Command carried out airstrikes targeting al-Shabaab in Somalia on March 11, 2026, in coordination with the Federal Government of Somalia. The strikes took place near Xawaadleey, roughly 60 kilometers north of Mogadishu.
