L3Harris tests multi-domain capabilities at the annual Project Convergence exercise

L3Harris Technologies showcased a range of interoperable, multi-domain technologies at the Army’s Project Convergence-Capstone 6 at Fort Irwin, California, demonstrating how its systems connect decision-makers with sensors and effectors across unified networks to accelerate threat interdiction in complex, contested settings.

The demonstrations highlighted assured, interoperable communications built around the company’s Falcon IV family of radios, the integration of Link 16 on UH-60 Black Hawks, and the Deceptor modular electronic warfare payload.

“Our wide range of open system defense technologies have modern, high-volume manufacturing and resilient supply chains to support their rapid delivery into the hands of soldiers,” said Christopher Aebli, President, Communications & Spectrum Dominance, L3Harris. “Many of the capabilities we demonstrated at Project Convergence show our technology is ready to meet the demands of tomorrow, providing additional value to the U.S. government’s investments into software-defined and open-systems solutions.”

L3Harris also partnered with ARX Robotics to field an integrated counter-unmanned aerial system capability using the company’s CORVUS-RAVEN.

The company said it is advancing work aligned to new Army requirements following its selection as a Next Generation Command and Control transport layer provider. Its technologies were recently exercised at Ivy Mass, Lightning Surge and Operation Jailbreak, where the Wraith waveform and WESCAM MX-Series electro-optical/infrared sensors were validated as “jailbroken.”
