U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has confirmed the completion of the ninth consecutive evening of strikes targeting Iran, which occurred on July 19 at 10 p.m. ET. These military operations focused on a range of strategic assets, specifically aiming at Iranian military command centers, air defense systems, coastal surveillance sites, maritime capabilities, as well as missile and drone launch sites.
The actions taken by CENTCOM are part of an ongoing effort to limit Iran’s ability to pose threats to commercial vessels and civilian mariners navigating the heavily trafficked Strait of Hormuz. The U.S. military’s engagement underscores a commitment to holding Iran accountable, with CENTCOM forces described as alert and prepared to respond to any further provocations.
