U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) forces initiated another series of strikes against Iranian military installations late on July 22, marking the 12th consecutive night of military action. The latest operations specifically targeted Iranian maritime capabilities, missile and drone storage facilities, various coastal surveillance sites, and air defense assets. These strikes aim to diminish Iran’s capacity to launch attacks against civilian mariners and commercial vessels in the region.
This month has seen an intensification of U.S. military efforts, with American forces conducting operations against numerous Iranian military sites on land while simultaneously reinstating a blockade at sea. CENTCOM has successfully redirected nine commercial vessels and disabled one to curb movement to and from Iranian ports.
The ongoing military readiness is underscored by the presence of over 50,000 U.S. service members stationed throughout the Middle East. They remain vigilant and prepared for any developments in the region.
