Joint Task Force Southern Spear carried out a lethal kinetic strike on April 26 against a vessel operated by Designated Terrorist Organizations in the Eastern Pacific. The action was conducted at the direction of the commander of U.S. Southern Command, Gen. Francis L. Donovan.
Intelligence confirmed the vessel was transiting along known narco-trafficking routes in the region and was engaged in narco-trafficking operations.
Three male narco-terrorists were killed in the strike. No U.S. military forces were harmed.
