On April 24, Joint Task Force Southern Spear carried out a lethal kinetic strike in the Eastern Pacific against a vessel operated by Designated Terrorist Organizations, acting on the direction of U.S. Southern Command’s commander, Gen. Francis L. Donovan.
Intelligence determined the vessel was transiting along known narco-trafficking routes and was engaged in narco-trafficking operations.
Two male narco-terrorists were killed in the strike. No U.S. military forces were harmed.
