EAST HARTFORD, Conn., Oct. 1, 2026 — Pratt & Whitney named Amy Comer president of its Military Engines business, effective Jan. 1, 2027. She will succeed Jill Albertelli, who was recently appointed Pratt & Whitney president upon the retirement of Shane Eddy at the end of the year. Pratt & Whitney is an RTX business.
“Amy is a trusted leader with deep technical expertise and a proven track record of disciplined execution for our customers,” said Eddy. “I’m confident she will build on Jill’s significant efforts and ensure we continue to deliver the advanced propulsion capabilities the U.S. Services and our allies need for their important missions.”
Comer brings more than two decades of experience in leadership roles across engineering and program management, supporting the development and sustainment of military and commercial product lines. She is currently vice president of Pratt & Whitney’s GTF engines.
