Booz Allen closes acquisition of Ultra I&C mission solutions unit

Booz Allen Hamilton has completed its previously announced $720 million acquisition of the Ultra I&C Mission Solutions business, a move the company says will expand its technology offerings for national security missions.

The deal brings Ultra Mission Solutions’ defense software, encryption, and edge-compute products into Booz Allen’s portfolio alongside its AI-driven battle management, resilient communications, and edge infrastructure solutions. The combined capabilities are intended to help warfighters connect, secure, and deploy technology at the edge and across domains, while accelerating the delivery of commercial technology to military and national security customers.

Ultra Mission Solutions will operate as the commercial product and solutions component of Booz Allen’s defense technology business, led by President Steve Escaravage.
