Orlando, Fla., June 23, 2026 — Lockheed Martin said it is teaming with European industry partners on a bid for NATO’s Next Generation Modelling and Simulation competition, anchoring its proposal on the company’s Advanced Center for Experimentation and Simulation (ACES). The effort combines Lockheed Martin’s 30+ years of modelling and simulation experience with regional and industry expertise to deliver capability, data sets, and overall force readiness.
ACES is designed as a unified, integrated ecosystem that links existing and emerging simulation capabilities. The company says it enables multinational training, exercise execution, operational planning, strategic analysis, and future capability development within a common environment.
By integrating diverse simulation tools and data sources, ACES is intended to boost collaboration, interoperability, and decision‑making across organizations and partner nations. It supports applications across all operational domains—air, land, maritime, space, and cyber—and spans major use cases including Computer Assisted Exercises, Operational Planning, Operational Analysis, Strategic Studies, and Computer Assisted Wargames. The platform supports training and analysis in live, virtual, and constructive environments.
