HII plans to spotlight shipbuilding and autonomous maritime capabilities at the Sea-Air-Space Expo 2026 in National Harbor from April 20–22, with a slate of announcements, demonstrations, exhibits and advertising planned across the show. The company will present its approach to integrating manned–unmanned maritime teaming and mission-enabling technologies to meet evolving operational needs for U.S. and allied naval forces.
Scheduled highlights include:
– Monday, April 20
– 10:40 AM: Distributed shipbuilding media briefing and photo opportunity.
– 1:30 PM: High-Yield Production Robotics (HYPR) partnership media announcement. HII Booth 923.
– 3:30 PM: Celebration marking 25 years of the REMUS unmanned underwater vehicle. HII Booth 923.
– Tuesday, April 21
– 9:00 AM: Update with build partner Breaux Brothers of Louisiana on progress in HII’s ROMULUS unmanned surface vessel and next steps in the program. HII Booth 923.
HII executives are also slated to join U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps leadership, along with policy and industry experts, for panel discussions on Tuesday, April 21:
