DCSA to host 2026 virtual security conference

The Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency plans to host its 2026 Virtual DCSA Security Conference from Sept. 14–18, convening government and industry security professionals for a week of training, briefings, and discussions on emerging risks and policy changes.

Organizers describe this year’s event as a significant consolidation that will bring together stakeholders from across the security enterprise in a single, unified program, designed to strengthen collaboration and help safeguard the nation’s technological edge and competitive advantage.

The conference is expected to draw Facility Security Officers, government security managers, and intelligence community partners worldwide. By keeping the event online, DCSA aims to maximize participation across time zones and geographies.

Planned content includes sessions on industrial security, counterintelligence, insider‑threat mitigation, personnel vetting, and other mission-critical topics relevant to both public- and private-sector practitioners.

The Center for Development of Security Excellence will open registration and release the full agenda later this summer. Updates will be posted on the CDSE News site (cdse.edu/CDSE-News/).

DCSA, a component of the Department of Defense, conducts personnel vetting for much of the federal government and provides oversight of the National Industrial Security Program, making the annual conference a key venue for sharing best practices and aligning on new requirements across the cleared workforce.
